Meetings 2006
9th December
Our Christmas Party, held at the Miller of Mansfield, all the usual Christmas Fun, Santa paid us a special visit, Caz and David did pass the parcel, then we boogied to some convention favourites.
11th November
A quieter meeting this time as many members were away or attending conventions. A good chance to chat and swap Battles in Time cards!
28th October
A busy day for LOTNA members, some of us went on an away day to Portsmouth to see Evil of The Daleks, others were lasertaging so the numbers for the Halloween party were down. However, those that did turn up had a great time and sported some fun costumes!
14th October
We watched the second episode of the new BBC Robin Hood, later Plank did his first quiz.
23rd September
During the afternoon, three teams explored London looking for clues set by Mark and Caz. The best dressed team of Trekkies were beaten by team fluffy bunny with Stan's team a very creditable second place. In the evening to celebrate 40 years of Trek Sue and Steve did a quiz.
9th September
Paul did his first quiz, very enjoyable, especially his Doctor Who impressions!
26th August
Something new for LOTNA, our resident thespian Stan held an improvisation workshop. Well done to all those that took part, Also very enjoyable for those that just watched. The "Serenity crew" certainly made an impression ;-)

After the tear-jerking Doctor Who finale, we dried our eyes and celebrated the end of another fantastic season. Mark did a quiz, then David and Caz did a Doctor Who version of their infamous Christmas Party pass-the parcel. Then we cranked up the convention tunes and danced the night away! Read more here.

A busy day for many members playing Dave's lasertag game, the evening meeting was a chance to chill out, relax and chat Sci-Fi to other fans.
22nd April
LOTNA was at Salute Zero Six during the day. We met loads of great people and a few of them came along to the evening meeting.
25 March and 8 April
There were no planned activities at these meetings but we had some good conversations about our favourite films and shows.
11 March
The Annual LOTNA auction, a great evening and a successful fund raiser for the club. Huge thanks to Dave, Janine and Corinne for ensuring everything ran smoothly.
25 February

11 February
A slightly smaller meeting this time so there were no planned activities, which was a good chance to catch up with people and have a chat about all the latest TV shows that have started this season.

This meeting was being hijacked by the dread pirate Captain Tony for his 40th birthday party! Thanks to Tony and DV for a great evening :-)

Dave hosted a Playdough quiz. A team member had to make an object from play dough for the others to guess. A hectic, fun and very close fought contest!
